英语教学大纲规定高中毕业学生达到“能在学过的题材和语言范围内写短文和书信,意思连贯,拼写正确,语法用词、标点和格式基本正确”。为此,我们在高三复习的同时开展了课外英语写作活动。以写作来促进语法、词汇和句型的复习。通过点拨、诱导、启发使学生克服了对英语写作的畏难情绪,激发成功的乐趣和提高了表达能力。以写气候为例。一、提供范文活动一开始,我们以bookⅱ(j.)第十五课课文theseasons为作文的范文,先让学生阅读模仿,然后两人一组用完整句子回答理解题。二、归纳词语范文中往往有大量的词汇和词语要求学生归纳整理。学生板书所学有关气候的词汇和短语。vocabularyofweatherotherexpressionssunnywarmcoolitalwaysrainsinsummer.hotcoldwindytheflowerscomeoutinspring.rainywetdrythebestseasonoftheyearisspring.cloudymildfairit’sspring,thetimewheneverythingisgrowing.snowyit’sautumn,thetimeforpeasantstogetinthecrops.三、组织提纲四、补充词语学生在根据提纲作文时需要一些能表达自己思想的词语。教师有意识地补充扩大有关天气的词语。诸如:heisafair-weatherfriend.sheisarough-weatherfriend.someoneisasfickleastheweather.everybodytalksabouttheweather,butnobodydoesanythingaboutit.我们还选抄了一首小诗,让他们朗读。apoemthere’salwaysweather,there’alwaysweather,weather,whetherwelikeitornot.somedaysareniceandsunny,sunnyandbrightandhot.sometimessocoldandcloudy!willitsoomsnoworwon’t?ifdayswerealwaysjustthesame,out-of-doorswouldbesotame....neverawildandwindyday.neverastormyskyofgray.i’mgladthere’sweather,weather.darkdays,thendaysfullofsum.summerandfallandwinter-weatherissomuchfun!最后让学生以theweatherin…或myfavorite为题写一篇100字左右的文章并在组内进行交流。下面选取一篇为例。theweatherinourcitytherearefourseasonsinourcity.thenamesoftheseasonsarewinter
